A Little Fieldtrip

Our last preschool gathering for the year--a fieldtrip to the petting zoo:

Cares and a few of her little buddies with their "diplomas"

Olivia loved the animals and squealed with delight over and over again

Brave Caroline (she's blocking her eyes because of the sun--not the llama :)

Bentley and Mason checking out the peacock. When we first saw the bird he was quite calm with his feathers settled down. I told Bentley and Cares to do a crazy dance for him--and they took to it whole-heartedly! Sure enough they fired him up and we got the full plume :)

2 years ago--I love this pic. Look how much she's grown!

petting a baby goat

and a silky soft baby bunny (now I wish we had one of our own--he was too soft and cute!)

What the weird comment above!

So I am loving the comparison photo of Cares- can't believe how much she has changed!

And leave it to the LeBaron kids to do a crazy dance and exciten (is that a word) the peacock. Can totally picture it, hilarious.

Caroline is getting so big! She was just a peanut in that earlier photo. Love her.

Cool that Beans got the peacock to react to him...how fun to see his (the peacock's) full plume.

I love field trips!

Love the peacock story, too. Cares is quite brave about animals, I remember her petting the pigs at Gardener Village when she was little.

We are such lazy losers. We slept though our last pre-school gathering.

Seriously, who does that. Oh well. Can't win them all.

I am glad you guys had fun. Sorry we missed it. We'd had a couple of really late nights in a row ending with Alyssa's dance recital the night before and we just slept.
