Scary

My woes over losing my camera have diminished because of this. Please pray for all of us out here and all of those who have already lost homes to the fire.

Care I hope everything is okay! I would call but I know it is much too early for you, plus I'm in a different time zone. I wish we could send some of our rainstorms out your way right now.

A few weeks ago we were having more tornado warnings and the sirens were going and our tv wasn't even working so I had no idea what to do. But Sadie was still asleep upstairs and I didn't take it very seriously and kept playing with Max in the basement. Later I found out all my neighbors were hiding in their basement bathrooms with all their kids. I had no idea it was that serious! You are a much better example by getting all your documents ready and photos and valued belongings.

We went outside last night and could see the fires on the mountain clear from our house!!! So scary. Tim and Amber had to be evacuated and I kept waiting to hear from you. It looks like only four homes were burned, which is a miracle, especially when the flames were so close to so many homes. And the fires are dying down and moving away from you. I am so grateful. Way to be prepared!
