Pumpkin Carving

ready to scrape out seeds (a part Cares does not enjoy...)

digging in deep (a part Beans loves!)

carving with the Emerys--we made Russ do his home teaching over pumpkin guts...

Cares' final product: a kitty pumpkin...again :)

Bentley's spooky jack-o-lantern

and all on a snowy, snowy day

we are super lame with pumpkin carving. The squirrels have been eating our pumpkins here. little varmits. I like living through your family night though of carving. :)

We were supposed to do that tonight...and didn't. We were all too tired. So maybe tomorrow afternoon. Can Joe come help us make some masterpieces?

Great creations, as always! It's such a messy, creative, fallish tradition!

While we carved our pumpkins I told the girls how Joseph always put us to shame with his elaborate and creative designs. Same with easter egg dyeing, food presentation, etc. Boo on the natural artiste. :)
