Olivia's Blessing

My tiny beauty--all dressed up before church today

Today was Olivia's baby blessing. Her sweet daddy blessed her that she would be a peacemaker in our family and that she would develop a desire to know and love her Savior. He was joined by all 4 of his brothers, 3 brothers-in-law, both of Livie's grandfathers, and the bishopric in our ward. It was a very fine circle of men holding and blessing my darling daughter.

With my mom and sisters. Their good husbands helped bless Olivia for which I am very grateful.

It was a sweet and sacred occasion. Little Livvie is a precious doll, we are all so grateful for her arrival into our lives. Joseph's blessing was beautiful, and your newly re-done house was lovely! Now that the work is done you can relax and enjoy it. I am honored to have my daughter and my grand-daughter carry my name, and to share it with a woman as wonderful as Ruth Ann. We love your little family, Carrie! ((GREAT photos of Olivia!)

We are so so happy we could be part of Olivia's special day and supporting you guys. During sacrament I was playing with cute Cares but I looked over at you and Joe and you two were cooing over Olivia and she was smiling so big at you two. You three were all so wrapped up in each other, I loved it and felt the spirit so strong. How wonderful that she has been born into your family!

PS- forgot to tell you I feel so excited about your house- how fun to have a whole new half of a home to enjoy! And it looks great. And you also looked like one hot momma in that skirt you were wearing!

You did such a great job pulling the house together for your big day! Everything looked so great...yay for new rooms and spaces and for hubbies that take the day off to help out and then just create more projects that aren't even on the list :-)! Kudos to Joe though for caring enough to make such an effort.

You and Joe were beautiful today as you beamed over your adorable girl. She is such a beloved addition already and we know she will bless all of our lives. We love you and your family and the spirit you have with you. Thank you for sharing your special day with us.
