Cabin Weekend

Even though we drove up in and out of a blizzard, it was freezing when we first got there, Bentley had serious poop issues for several hours, and the kids were super restless during the night, we LOVE the cabin!! Warming up by the fire, watching the still forest fill with snow, eating yummy meals, roasting marshmallows with Bentley, bouncing Caroline on the rodeo horse and watching the kids snuggle and play with Grandma and Grandpa--these are the reasons why it is worth all the effort :)

I love the picture of Joe cuddling Tiny Cares- it is like he is cuddling his wife but way smaller. ha ha ha

Wish I could have come, I love all those things too!

I love those things about the cabin as well. And to have hit a snowstorm makes it even more fun! Sorry we weren't there to join you (better that we weren't since MJ was miserable). What did Caresie think of the snow? Love that Maddie has that same sweater and had those same shoes last year and has those brown pjs too! Too funny!

It was wonderful, thank you for braving all the issues to share the time with us! All of it was a pleasure, even the poop problem ;-) Heidi's comment is true!! Ha, Ha! Joe with his teeny, tiny Carrie wife! We love you, we love your kids. It was heavenly for us.

wow check out that snow. Was cares not too sure what it was? It's a fun age where they are discovering so many new things. That's fun that you guys could make a fun trip up there.
