Halloween 2014

We started the day with Joseph's cool pancakes before school:

...and then sent the kids off to school and parties and their morning parade. Since it was right away Joseph dropped the kids off like always on his way to work and then he drove around the corner to wait 15 minutes or so before the elementary kids came parading down the street. Luke and I went up to the school later in the day for the PM kindergarten costume parade.

Work sent everyone home a little early —around 3:00 pm —so when Joseph got home we snuck in a lovely bike ride together before it was time to fix dinner (mummy dogs and black and orange foods of course) and get the kids ready for trick or treating.

I took this kids around this year and Joseph stayed home to hand out candy. We'd had a ward trunk or treat just a few nights before so it was a pretty calm night as far as numbers go. And the weather was unbelievable —nearly 70 degrees before the sun went down!

We met up with a bunch of neighborhood friends and roamed around for about 90 minutes and then felt done (especially because we had loads of candy from trunk or treat already!)
