Now that it's nearing the end of the month, we have a whole slew of activities planned (this week alone we are booked every day). Crazy. I know. But in about 5 months, I will be a boring mama with a newborn's schedule dictating much of life. So, for now, I want our little family to have lots of fun (can you store up memories when you're a little kid and pull them out when it's a rainy spring day and you're stuck at home? hmmm...)
Last night=Barnyard Boo at Thanksgiving Point. It was a lovely night for playing outside and even though I think Cornbelly's or even the Scarecrow Festival looked much more adventurous and filled with lots more to do, the little set-up at the petting zoo was about as much as we needed with our small kids. Plus, it wasn't very busy which made it ten times cooler in my book!

Fun! I really love the age Max is at right now- sometimes I think it does not get any cuter- but I am also looking forward to when we can go do fun things like this as a family and he will enjoy them.
That does sound like a great activity! Especially since you got to frost cookies!
We are booked every day this week as well with things day and night...I thought we would have all this down time with the kids off-track but so far, it hasn't happened. But these are the times to make fun memories and take cute pictures for the books. The kids can pull those out and sit by you when you have new baby and then the memories will come flooding back for them.
oh that's funny about the headless horseman. I might be scared too. Annalisa went to the cornbelly's haunted lizard in the evening and she said it was SCARY. She totally screamed and scared cohen to death. They had to bail early from that.
