—Church for all but Luke who started falling apart at 10:30 and just needed a nap (Joseph stayed with him and the rest of us went to sacrament meeting. Very good talks and such a good meeting without needing to wrestle a 2 year old :)
—NFL football on TV and hanging with my parents that afternoon
—Grilled chicken and veggies by the pool while the kids played on the playground
—Sunset walk to the beach to soak up every ounce of vitamin D our winter bodies could get
Our little family in 2008 and 2014. The tree hasn't changed but oh my have we!
We're lucky we made it to the Ihilani early in the week. Starting Thursday they closed the path at the 3rd Lagoon for those with Ihilani badges only as all the Pro-Bowl players were staying at the hotel. As I ran in the mornings I kept wondering which men around me were possibly pro football players out for a jog :)
Beautiful morning shot of our resort
Lunch in our room. We had the best set-up of 2 separate rooms with this kitchen and living area between them. The girls slept in the smaller room and Bentley slept with them a few nights and then opted for the fold out couch in the living room since he is used to his own space and a very quiet sleeping environment :) He'd fall asleep in our bed and then we'd move him over once we went to sleep. And Luke slept in a little enclosed lanai off the master in the pack-n-play. We had 2 full bathrooms to share too which we definitely needed with 6 of us. My parents' room was just down the hall from us too which was the most perfect set-up. My kids wandered down to find them all the time and each night once the littles were in bed my parents came over for games—namely Canasta and Nines. My mom and I had the best Hawaiian luck and owned Canasta while on that trip—it was really fun ;)
Relaxing in the sun on Sunday—Luke made it exceptionally peaceful and quiet :) Good thing he is purely adorable because how could I resist that gorgeous baby body?!
Shot of the playground Joseph took while grilling our dinner
Random cool pic of Bentley's set-up playing with army guys on the window shades
Back to the same tree which was so fun to climb on and the sand and water and sun. Glorious time of night with that rich setting sun.
Cares was helping Luke and forgot he's much shorter than she is and gets wet well before she does :) Oh well, who needs pants in Hawaii anyway?
Love this shot. Love this boy. That sun and tropical air just felt so perfectly amazing.

So fun to see your pictures--I need to get mine posted up too! I'm way jealous that you had such good weather. It was cloudy and rainy almost every single day of our trip. BOO..... no Hawaiian sun for us!!
Sunshine, in every pic, sunshine! Sunny kids, happy day, wasn't it all great? Love the pic in the same sloping palm tree. How your family has changed!
And yes, we ruled the Canasta tournament!!!
fun before and after pic of your fam! When we went with mom and dad and tye and stage we were like a 20 minute walk away, totally different building. glad you guys were closer together
