Glad I get to spend mine with my favorite valentine. We have big plans to meet for a lunch date at IKEA and shop for our home. Dreamy :)

LOVE
Came across this list of the 10 Best Love Poems accompanied by famous artwork—perfect viewing for the holiday of love today. But it got me thinking too. If I were to create a list like that there were definitely be very different artwork included. Of course you can't go wrong with Klimt's The Kiss but where was Rodin's sculpture by the same name? Or the pop art LOVE sculpture? To each her own aesthetic I guess.
And if we're talking about poetry, why wasn't Robert Browning included? Or any of Shakespeare's
sonnets? Those always remind me of this epic scene from my fave show as a teenager...Heidi Allen and Meagan Gilmore—this is for you:

Have fun shopping at Ikea! Did you see 30 Rock last week? One of the funniest ever and that whole part about Ikea was awesome. Don't fight with Joe while you are in there :-).
Thats funny--Rob and I fight at IKEA! Def. not a romantic spot for us. We are feeding the missionaries tonight--that's our celebration of true love these days :). Love your art/poetry list. I would certainly change a few things too. What's your favorite love song? One of my all time faves is "To Make You Feel My Love"--thought it was beyond sweet when Garth Brooks introduced it and I love Adele's cover of it too. Rodin's sculpture is so beautiful--a must on my list too!!

I didn't read any of the poems but liked seeing the art. I would definitely change most of them for my top ten.
I don't watch 30 Rock anymore but now I need to see that episode. Happy V-day sis!
