—from the novel, Mr Rochester to Jane:
"I have for the first time found what I can truly love—I have found you. You are my sympathy—my better self—my good angel. I am bound to you with a strong attachment. I think you good, gifted, lovely: a fervent, a solemn passion is conceived in my heart; it leans to you, draws you to my centre and spring of life, wraps my existence about you, and, kindling in pure, powerful flames fuses you and me in one."

Thank you for organizing the outing to see it last night!
I came home and reread the last part before I went to sleep...that part of the movie left me slightly unfulfilled but the rest of it was enchanting. I love this love story as well and it was fun to see it come to life on screen.
Thanks, Carrie, it was a good film and I enjoyed meeting you girls at the show.
Fun who all went? I am guessing Cec and mom? I totally forgot that was out, may need to organize a girls night for myself!
Carrie, have you seen the masterpiece Theater version? It is my favorite (and I have seen all of them!) Jane Eyre is my favorite book too. I went to see the new version this week and really didn't like the end.
oh! I haven't seen it! Thank you so much for reminding me!!!! Girls night in????
